Ian's Dayschool Graduation

Well, my baby Ian graduated from the Smithville Dayschool last night. This means that next year he will be going to kindergarten..... sniff, sniff. I'm torn between my sadness of him growing up (he has grown up so much in the past year) and my pride in him. He is such a smart, sensitive, caring, determined, well-behaved, and happy child that I can't help feeling so proud of him. I can't imagine how I will feel when he graduates from high school! I have a feeling that depression will set in when that happens!

Elliot's class also performed during the graduation ceremony, and they all did so well. I was a little surprised though that my little ham (Elliot) did not perform more for the crowd! Ian was actually the one getting into it.

They did a slide show of pics from the year and their baby pics.... yes, I cried.... a lot. Adam and I both did have fun and were so happy that both sets of grandparents were able to come.

Easter 2012

Well, we just made it through Easter weekend and I have to say that it was great. It's always a busy day but we had so much fun. Actually, the week before Easter was my spring break so I had fun with the boys all week. We went to see Click, Clack, Moo with Pat at the Nashville Children's Theater. I also worked on our master bedroom (I'll post pics soon). The boys cooperated with picture taking too, so I had to post some of my favorites. :)

Catch Up

We are getting ready for Christmas and have been really busy, but I wanted to get caught up on what has been going on with us! Above is a pic for our Christmas cards this year. Tramel and Co. did a great job!

We had a really fun Halloween this year. Both of the boys enjoyed dressing up (as Mario and Luigi) and getting lots of candy!

We also went to Gulf Shores over fall break and had the best time. We loved playing on the beach. :)

Elliot had his 2nd birthday on Sept. 9th! It was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed and we had it at Greenbrook Park. Such a great day!

Boys of Summer

Can't you tell what we are doing this summer?! Ian is playing on his first tball team... the Dekalb Community Bank Lil Bucks! Here he is with his teammates and cousins, Gracie and Garrison.

Ian hit his first homerun!! I was so proud of my big boy... I'm just glad I didn't cry lol. He was more proud of the grounder he got though!  Once he stopped the ball, he threw it to Garrison at 2nd base and got the runner out!

We also made time for a weekend trip to Atlanta and went to Six Flags and the Aquarium. The boys yelled "fish!" the whole time!

Spring Break

We had a really good spring break even though we didn't go on any overnight trips. On a beautiful day, we took the boys fishing. It was actually Elliot's first fishing trip. As you can see, Ian was very proud of the fish he caught. He caught 4 total (by himself), Adam caught 1, and Elliot and I caught exactly 0!

We also took the boys to the Knoxville Zoo one day and had a great time. The weather was a little cool, but that turned out to be a good thing... with all of the walking you have to do its nice to not be burning up. It was not crowded at all and the animals were out. Elliot got up close and personal with this gorilla! This made me a little nervous but the gorilla acted like he could not care less that we were there. Great day!
