1st Day of Preschool!

Ian had his first day of preschool today! He is only going on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but it is a big deal to us! He was so excited to be going to school like a big boy and would get to wear his Lion backpack that he picked out.

When I went to pick Ian up after his big day, this is how Elliot and I found him. He was still asleep and would not wake up so I let Elliot get him up! He had fun and must have done a lot. :)

7 Years and Counting

Today is my and Adam's 7 year anniversary... I can't believe it has been that long! The years really do fly by, and it seems like yesterday since I walked down the aisle. I truly loved my wedding and sometimes I really miss that day. I was 23 years old, young and stupid, but I sure did make the best decision ever that day! Happy Anniversary to my loving husband.

Kara's Necklaces

Kara Helton sent me flowers from her grandfather's funeral and wanted 3 necklaces for her and her sisters. She asked for something a little more casual than the pearls so I found some beautiful sterling silver chains and sterling silver angel charms to create these necklaces for her. The angel charms have the flower beads and silver beads on each side. I think they turned out great! Thank you Kara. :)

Rena's Jewelry

Rena Willoughby asked for a necklace and bracelet set made from her great aunt's funeral flowers. They were beautiful cream and purple roses and when dried they turned a golden color and dark purple. I combined them with the pearls and silver beads. Hope you enjoy them Rena!

Angela's Bracelet

Gena Cripps had this bracelet made for Angela Hedge Miller from a rose from her father's, Amos Hedge, funeral. The red rose was dried very dark so that is why the beads are a bit darker than usual. Once again, I used the silver flower spacer beads. I hope Angela enjoys her bracelet!

Ashby's Jewelry

Gena Cripps had this necklace and bracelet set made for Ashby Cripps as a surprise wedding gift. Ashby is marrying Alex Woodward soon, and when he proposed he gave her a bouquet of tulips. Gena brought me some of the dried tulips and I made this set for her from them. I think the flower beads turned out beautifully because they have a pretty purple hue to them.
Gena is such a sweet and thoughtful person to have this made for her, and I wish many blessings to Ashby and Alex on their upcoming nuptials!
