Busy, Busy

I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. We have been extremely busy! Adam has been out of town on a business conference, and I have been busy at work getting our 8th graders registered for high school and finishing TCAP testing. It's that time of year! I will try to have new posts as much as possible, but hopefully in a few weeks I will be able to have more time for my jewelry. I can't wait for summer!

"You Make My Day" Award

Thank you to Sheila for giving my blog this You Make My Day Award. According to Sheila, I must pass this on to 5 other blogs that I enjoy. I read daily Brandie's Dream Custom Artwork blog, Stephanie Edens Photography blog, Tabetha Sullens at Reminisce Heirlooms, Sheila's blog, Susan B's Shirts, and Joy's Catering so I will pass this award along to them. All of these are on my links to check out list, so check them out!

Supermodels

These are some pics that my mother took of me and Ian at the fashion show on Saturday. Everything went well... I did not fall and Ian did pretty well. I, fortunately, was able to bribe him with some candy to stay in line while we waited to go on stage! Emily did a great job of planning it, and Brandie was a wonderful MC. Thanks everyone!

Shelly's Bracelet

This is a bracelet for Shelly Cross. The pink beads were made from roses that her husband had given her for Valentine's Day. A dear friend of hers got the flowers out of the trash and brought them to me to surprise her! I have never met Shelly, but I do know a bit about her. Currently, she is battling sarcoma, which is a type of cancer. She is having daily radiation treatments that will last for 7 weeks. Shelly also has 5 children ranging in ages 1-7. She is also a Christian and is very strong in her faith, because of this she is doing very well to be going through such a difficult time. Please pray for Shelly that her recovery will be quick. I hope you enjoy your bracelet Shelly!

Go Saints!

Karen Pelham is a teacher at DMS. She is also a mother of precious twins that are a few months younger than Ian (woooo, I feel for her some days)! She also coaches ball and at a recent awards banquet, she was given carnations that were dyed Saints colors, red and blue. Karen asked me to make her flowers into a necklace using the same colors. She will be able to wear this with all of her DMS shirts and for 4th of July!! Enjoy Karen!

Fashion Show

Come see me and Ian strut our stuff this Saturday at 11:00 at the Three Star Mall in McMinnville. They are having a women and children's health fair, and my little sis Emily is in charge of the fashion show. So, she recruited whoever she could bribe into being in it! I'm just hoping that I don't fall and that Ian behaves.... pray for us!

The Rest of Sandra's Bracelets

I finally finished up Sandra's order. These bracelets are for her sisters and niece. It's very kind of her to think of her family! Up next is Karen's red, white, and blue necklace!
